How to: Draw lines between objects
This tutorial demonstrates how to draw lines between objects. You will also learn how to select and modify lines
You can draw lines between objects with line tool.
Select the tool and draw the line.

You can only draw lines between objects. It is not possible to draw lines anywhere else.
Every object has a small grey rectangle in the middle.
You can use it for drawing lines. In that case you do not need to select the line tool. This is the fastest way to draw lines.
Normally pointer tool is automatically selected after line.
If you want to use the same tool for several times hold the Control key down when selecting it.
Lines appearance (color , width etc) can be modified in properties window. Select line and choose properties from popup menu.
You can select multiple lines. Hold Shift down and click each line you want to be selected.
All selected lines can be modified at the same time in properties window.
There are several ways to show the properties window.
Double click, Format / Properties, PopUp menu / properties, Press F4 or simply start typing when the line is selected.
You can create a line and object at the same time with arrow tools in toolbox
